The KrackedKings forum sure seems to have it's fair share of exponents of the art of HiLo Omaha and one of the latest winners is our very own Clairbonnie a.k.a. as the exotically named Claire Debois.
Outlasting a field of 611 runners on Pokerstars Claire scooped a nice $220 for an outlay of $2.20 to give her a much valued little boost prior to a trip to Los Angeles in 2 weeks, where she is planning on celebrating an upcoming birthday with some style!

Winning a satellite into a €200 competition for an outlay of €10.50 is very handy. Not only does it get you out of cleaning the Sunday lunch dishes, it also kills a few hours when other's highlights include watching the latest evictions on the X Factor !
Kill a few hours, down a few beers and five hours later you are trousering a tasty €10,000. Sounds perfect to me and that's what forum member Alex Thomson a.k.a "Donuts" did this Sunday in the Microgaming €30,000 GTD.

The Irish Poker Festival is a must on anyone’s Poker calendar - the 2010 event saw 633 runners in the main event alone, and 2011 is already shaping up to be bigger. The four day event will be held from the 29th September to 2nd October, with the €550 main event once again having a guaranteed prizepool of a massive €250,000.
Last year there was an exciting mix of regular online players, local Irish folk and a big group from the Nordic countries. The winner of the main event, Lars Torngren from Sweden, cashed in €75,000 from a prizepool of over €300,000.

I have to say it was with some trepidation that I sent out to forum "rude boy" Slimshady the traditional "congrats" PM and a request for more details of his recent win. Winning a tournament once in a while is nice but winning the same tournament twice in three days is just bloody greedy !!

All poker wins are welcome but with a new baby on the way a timely boost to the coffers can do no harm as happened recently to forum regular Claretsoup. Finding things quieter at work than at home "Claret" had time to play a bit more than usual and hit a nice run of form without taking down the coveted first prize. Ok, you've just finished an 8 hour shift so what next?
The pub, the bookies or a bit of online poker?
Most options are pretty good but when that shift ended at 10.30 pm and you are due back at work to do it all again at 2.30 pm then I guess the preferred option would be to climb into bed and give the Mrs a nudge (if there is an "R" in the month and the moon is full ) before falling asleep.

Back in 2006 Ladbrokes ran a superb cruise with a Main Event that carried a $5000 buy in - way outside the bankroll of most players but due to the high number of satellites run, many many of what are now KrackedKings forum regulars took part and chased a huge 1st prize. There often talk among the regulars in the KrackedKings forum about what is and what isn't a good hourly rate to set yourself when sat at the virtual felt. Many agree it should be based around a certain number of big blinds in cash games but in tournaments there seems to be much more varied argument.
You can't argue with $3800 for two hours work and an outlay of $82 can you though? I doubt it and recently forum regular Paulscot1 did just that on Pokerstars outlasting 216 others in this hyper turbo event.

First of all apologies to Supershammy for not writing this report up sooner but the distraction of Las Vegas for a couple of weeks was just too much to handle - hopefully all the winnings aren't already spent!!

We have WCOOPs, SCOOPs, ECOOPs, GSOPs, FTOPs, mini FTOPs and back in the annals of history there was once a LEOCOP .
